There are some fun new hotels popping up all over NYC and Brooklyn—a few that are just opening their doors to guests officially this month. With tons of perks plus pricing that won’t break the bank, there’s never been a better time to visit the city that never sleeps.

Book your ticket, pack a carry-on and prepare to walk, and eat and drink, until your legs fall off. Depending on the length of your stay, you may even be able to give all four of these hotspot accommodations a try.

Cachet Boutique NYC Hotel

Extra safe, as it’s near the police station and tucked away on 42nd Street, Cachet Boutique is a newly-named and renovated hidden gem and a refuge from the city when you need it most. The hotel wraps around a green SkyDeck, an open-air terrace with lounge chairs and umbrellas, perfect for napping or getting some work out of the way before a night on the town.

As dusk falls, this turns into a magical place to sip wine while admiring the NYC skyline, draped twinkling lights and a large-scale mural by local artist, JPOArt.

I stayed in one of the hotel’s Executive Suites, a mini apartment-style sanctuary with a living room, full bedroom and spacious bathroom. There are mirrors everywhere here—a full-length mirror in the rainfall shower, a mirrored coffee table in the living area—and the bedroom feels extra-cozy with blackout curtains, cold A/C, sexy minimalist decor and a bangin’ mini bar (no joke, there are tons of snacks, alcohol, a sexy lovers’ kit and more).

Hole up in your room if you’d like, but there are lots of opportunities to socialize here, too. The lobby bar looks out to the street and the Pool Room, a social space right off the lobby, features Marilyn Monroe wallpaper and, of course, a pool table.

AC Hotel Times Square

Near the Port Authority Bus Terminal and recently opened this summer, the AC Hotel New York Times Square in Midtown Manhattan is in what’s possibly—no, definitely—the busiest neighborhood in NYC. It’s great for millennials, though, with both urban and classic decor, local artwork, complimentary WiFi and a year-round rooftop bar.

Castell is a great place to catch an NYC sunset while enjoying signature cocktails, shareable plates and a good old-fashioned scenic happy hour.

The hotel’s lobby restaurant, Boqueria, has multiple locations around the city and is known for its European-inspired breakfast and tapas-style authentic Spanish lunch and dinner menus. Patatas bravas and a glass of cava are always a good idea before hitting the streets. There’s a lot to see in this city, but a stellar hotel experience will always make your trip that much better.

Park Terrace Hotel

Opening this fall, the Park Terrace Hotel in Bryant Park will be a sophisticated, invigorating and relaxing place to stay.

The hotel will feature 226 guest rooms, a contemporary fitness program (think yoga, Peloton, sauna, cardio and strength), four conference spaces and Terrazzo Terrace & Lounge—a chic indoor lounge and outdoor garden terrace bar featuring mixologist-driven cocktails and locally-sourced bites as well as stunning views of the park and the Empire State Building.

State-of-the-art technology can also be found throughout the hotel. A couple examples: mobile phone-enabled locks and video streaming in every room.

The Hoxton, Williamsburg

No need to fear. We’ve got a trendy new Brooklyn hotel for those of you that prefer to hang around the cool(er) kids. Opening this month, The Hoxton hotel is located in Williamsburg, where the old Rosenwach factory used to sit (if you’re not familiar, this is the company that makes the iconic wooden water towers that line the NYC skyline).

The Hoxton will have 175 guest rooms, three restaurants and six bars (in collaboration with Brooklyn restaurateurs Jud Mongell of Five Leaves and Zeb Stewart of Cafe Colette, Union Pool and Hotel Delmano), a rooftop with views of Manhattan and The Apartment, a unique meeting/events space, home to The Hoxton’s rolling cultural events programme.

Guest rooms—designed by Ennismore Design Studio and with brass details, locally-made ceramics, raw concrete ceilings and mohair headboards in sage green, port and navy—are simple and fall into these categories: Cosy, Cosy with a View and Roomy. Of course, they also feature free water, WiFi and one hour of free calls (to anywhere in the world!). Double rooms start at $159, including a daily ‘emergency’ breakfast bag delivered right to your door.
