Walt Disney World Resort is revamping the way tourists see the theme park by introducing a new vacation-planning tool and date-based tickets.
Starting on October 16, travelers looking to visit Disney will be able to access the theme park’s new online vacation-planning platform and purchase tickets priced by the date of visit. The changes were implemented to simplify booking and planning vacations.
For guests looking to visit Disney, the new vacation-planning tool offers overviews, travel tips from Disney Parks Moms Panelists and customized suggestions based on each guest’s personal preferences.
To take advantage of the date-based ticket options, travelers must use the interactive online calendar. The calendar displays prices based on the chosen dates and informs potential visitors when tickets must be used.
In addition, the ticket calendar allows users to see the lowest-priced days for each month. To help travelers understand the changes, Disney shared a video explanation on YouTube:
Once tickets are purchased, visitors will be able to use the My Disney Experience online or on the app to help personalize their vacation.
Disney officials said the date-based tickets “will allow us to better distribute attendance throughout the year so that we can continue to improve and deliver a great experience.”
